A 6-month-old infant underwent bilateral primary cataract surgery with phacoaspiration. The posterior capsular bag was left intact and adequately polished. Glasses were prescribed to rehabilitate the baby’s vision. In their video, Drs. Punjabi and Mahesh show their technique for reopening the fibrosed capsular bag, which has associated anterior capsular phimosis. Next, they implant a single-piece, foldable, hydrophobic, acrylic posterior chamber IOL in the bag.
