UK to Offer COVID-19 Booster Vaccines to All Over 50s

The UK government on Tuesday said that booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be offered to all vulnerable people and those aged over 50, as well as frontline healthcare workers, starting next week as part of its plan heading into autumn and winter, according to a FirstWord report. The recommendation by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) calls for a third dose to be given at least six months after the second shot.
