CVP Partners With Virginia Eye Consultants to Create Multiregional Platform

Virginia Eye Consultants (VEC) has joined CEI Vision Partners (CVP) to create one of the largest ophthalmology management services organizations in the United States, with the mission of creating scale to help physician-led ophthalmology practices grow and remain competitive in the new landscape of health care.

VEC is a multispecialty practice with 11 ophthalmologists and six optometrists who specialize in cornea and glaucoma procedures, cataract surgery, vitreoretinal surgery, uveitis, as well as premium IOLs and YAG capsulotomy. VEC has four clinical locations and an ambulatory surgery center.

CVP is building one of the country’s leading ophthalmology management organizations, and the addition of Virginia Eye Consultants will allow CVP to expand in the Mid-Atlantic region. CVP expects to partner with additional ophthalmology practices, regionally and nationally, over the next several months. The company currently has more than 100 industry-leading providers across all major subspecialties in ophthalmology working in 30 clinical centers and multiple ambulatory surgical centers in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Virginia.
