Designed in conjunction with a number of leading ophthalmic surgeons in Europe and the United States, this cannula for laser cataract surgery enhances hydrodissection after a laser capsulotomy, according to Sterimedix. The 25-gauge cannula is angled and flattened on the horizontal plane for easier insertion under the capsule. The instrument has two sideports to improve the flow of fluid after dissection to overcome any persistent adherence of the capsule and cortex. Each box is packaged with 10 sterile cannulas.
